Welcome to the home of Illinois Girls Wrestling

Illinois Girls Wrestling is the girls Freestyle/Folkstyle division of the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation. It was created to foster the growth, development, and opportunities for girls in Illinois through local events, state championships, rules and technique clinics, national dual teams, and national championship participiation. Freestyle is the women's Olympic style of wrestling under the direction of United World Wrestling, the international governing body, and USA Wrestling. Freestyle is also the collegiate style of wrestling under the direction of the Women's College Wrestling Association. Through the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation, Illinois Girls Wrestling is a not for profit corporation as described in Internal Revenue Service code 501(c)(3).
